IDCC Roundtable: Diversity and Inclusion
05 Nov 2019, Tuesday @09:00 - 11:00
IDCC Roundtable @ LM Wind Power
Diversity and inclusion in the workplace have progressed from an overall moral obligation to a business strategy, as studies have shown the significant financial impact it brings with it. Companies with a diverse and inclusive workforce are shown to have increased profitability and creativity, stronger governance and problem-solving abilities.
While diversity is more than just gender, gender equality is still a major issue in the corporate world. More companies develop strategies to achieve greater diversity and inclusion throughout the group, but how do you implement in countries with different cultural norms and demographic structures?
LM Wind Power
LM Wind Power is expanding significantly in India hiring 700 blue- and white-collar employees a year. Add to that well above average retention rates and two consecutive awards as top-50 ‘Great Place to Work’, LM Wind Power is doing something right.
Currently, LM Wind Power is working towards achieving +5% female workers across all global manufacturing facilities and India is in the lead.
At this roundtable, Anette Papuga, HR Director, Global Operations & Sourcing, LM Wind Power, will share how they approach these challenges, including how they
– Engage the local community
– Share Danish values through mentor-programs
– Empower local leadership
