IDCC Manufacturing Network – Blue collar skill development and retention

How do you best onboard and train new and existing blue-collar employees in India? And what can you do to make sure they stay with you? These are the topics of this next meeting in our Manufacturing network.

As a source of inspiration and outset for a good discussion, we have invited LM Wind Power and Danfoss to share their experiences and best practices on the topic.

LM Wind Power will focus on a situation they found themselves in a few years ago, where they were looking at a rapid expansion in India. They will cover how they prepared the plant for expansion, hired a significant amount of workers in a short time, and how they set up a Center of Excellence to support this process.

Danfoss will share their best practices with onboarding, skill development, and retention of blue-collar workers in India.

Program:

09.00-09.05: Welcome, Sankar Arumugam, Head of Manufacturing Operations at FLSmidth India
