Employer Branding in India: A Danish way?

Employer branding in India: A Danish way?

The job market in India is tough - and many companies struggle with both recruitment and attrition. While compensation remains the top-deciding factor amongst candidates, recent studies show a significant increase in the focus on ‘softer’ criteria, such as purpose, meaningfulness, supportive leadership, DE&I policies, work-life balance and more.

Many of these criteria are deeply rooted in the Danish way of doing business, which presents an opportunity for Danish companies to differentiate themselves in the Indian job market.

Therefore, this session will focus on how IDCC member companies can leverage this position in the search for talent in India.

Agenda

1. How can Danish companies leverage candidates’ increased focus on ‘softer’ criteria when choosing their next career step?

2. How are notions of purpose and meaningfullness in the context of work understood in India?

3. What are the opportunities for joint branding of Danish companies in India?
