The EU-India relationship and it’s impact on the Danish private sector

We are happy to invite IDCC members for an opportunity to get first-hand knowledge and perspectives on the EU-India commercial relationship - and its impact on the Danish private sector.

Status on the EU-India relationship

Søren Gade is a firm believer that EU should prioritize a closer connection with India - a country with which the EU share many democratic values. Market forces need to be a key driver in India's green transition and that requires political willingness. While the free trade agreement negotiations were resumed in 2021, it has already taken much too long, according to Søren Gade.

DI's Peter Thagesen will share his perspectives on Denmark-India bilateral trade and India's position as a market in relation to recent market developments elsewhere, such as Joe Bidens Inflation Reduction Act.
