Shared Services Centres – How to choose the location of your SSC in India

Shared Services Centres – How to choose the location of your SSC in India

In a 2023 Deloitte report, India emerged as the most prefered location for Shared Services, followed by Poland and Mexico. Part of why India is doing so well is the access to talent. However, with the success and the rising number of SSCs in the country comes also a stiffer competition for said talent and challenges with congestion in cities such as Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.

In that light, we see new hubs having emerged, such as Hyderabad and Pune, which also reflects the post-covid reluctance of talent to commute or even relocate for work.

In this session we discuss the emerging trends, and the considerations to be made when setting up a SSC in India.
