Network Launch – ESG in India

Leapfrog ESG in India and create future-oriented USP's

Environment, Social and Governance - three words that are increasingly and firmly making their way into board rooms across the world. ESG, with its quantifiable framework, seem to be replacing the three-decade old CSR framework as companies preferred way of assessing and communicating sustainability.

But what is ESG all about, how is it being implemented in India - and what are some of the upcoming risks, frontiers, but also opportunities companies should be aware of?

These are some of the questions we will be discussing in this first session in our new Focus Network on ESG in India.

We are happy to have Mathias Pontoppidan, Founder and Managing Partner at Pontoka guide us in exploring below agenda:

• Current stage of the ESG evolution in India

• Examples of 'local' ESG substance

• Advise to Danish corporates with ESG ambitions in India

• Upcoming ESG frontiers, risks and opportunities
