Wellbeing of Indians in Denmark
IDCC is happy to witness an increasing number of Indians working in Denmark – both long and short term. Moving to a new country is challenging, especially in an Indo-Danish setting, where the cultural norms are significantly different.
With this in mind, IDCC conducted a survey to explore the wellbeing of Indians in Denmark. The survey clearly showed a number of challenges, spanning practical, cultural and climatic topics.
However, one particular topic stood out the most: the significant level of unhappiness among the spouses of people working in Denmark. Therefore, we would like to invite you – the spouses to Indians employed by IDCC member companies – to an informal session to discuss how IDCC can best assist in addressing the challenges you are facing.
